Add a cut

Tell us what your butcher sells

Know a cut, or a name for one, that we're missing? Tell us what it's called and where. You don't need to know whether we already have it under another name; we'll work that out.

A photo (the raw cut or the shop label — this helps most)

What happens next

  1. We check itAgainst butchers' price lists, labels and national cut guides. A name goes on the site only once we can source it.
  2. It goes on a pageEither a new cut page, or a name added to the cut we already have under another name. A photo you took is credited to you.
  3. We tell youIf you left an email, you get the link when it's live. Nothing else.
